Knott’s Peanuts Celebration 2022

Peanuts Character Riding a toy horse

Today’s thrilling Kim’s Adventure takes us to Knott’s Peanuts Celebration 2022, a unique family event dedicated to the beloved Peanuts characters, running from January 22nd to March 6. The park is abuzz with stage shows, live music, character meet and greets, and themed food and merchandise, making it an unforgettable experience for all.

During the celebration, visitors get to indulge in limited-time meals. At Sutter’s, we tried the Fun Guy Charlie Pizza and the Chicken Parm Grilled Cheese. This year, Knott’s has gone cashless, so guests can conveniently use their cards for transactions. For those who prefer cash payments, a cash-to-card kiosk is available, valid not just in the park but also elsewhere. Surprisingly, seafood is also on the menu at the Wilderness Broiler, featuring the delightful pistachio Mahi Mahi with rice Pilaf and lemon cream sauce.

After a delicious lunch, we headed to the Camp Snoopy theater to watch the Music Goes Round and Around show. Schroeder and Sally provided entertaining commentary as they explored the music of Peanuts.

While at Camp Snoopy, we couldn’t resist visiting Grizzly Creek Lodge to savor the Grand Mac Sloppy Joe with Mac and Cheese, as well as the Patty Melt Grilled Cheese Fries. With our meals in hand, we enjoyed them while waiting for the It’s Your Life Charlie Brown Musical at the Calico Mine Stage, a well-executed show that plays on weekends.

Families with young children can have a blast at the stick horse races in Ghost Town. For art enthusiasts, the Bird Cage Theatre hosts the Peanut’s sketch school, where visitors can learn to draw Snoopy, Woodstock, and other characters.

As evening approached, something unique unfolded at the Fiesta Village dance floor – Spike’s Silent Disco hosted by Snoopy’s Beagle brother. Guests wore headphones with three different channels to choose from, creating a lively atmosphere. However, the DJ’s voice couldn’t be heard through the headsets, adding an interesting twist to the experience.

To end the day on a delicious note, we savored the Wah Wah Wah Buffalo Popcorn Chicken Loaded Fries from La Papa Loca. Finally, we enjoyed a fantastic country music performance, culminating in another successful and enjoyable day at Knott’s Berry Farm. We can’t wait to do it all again!
