In Today’s Kim’s Adventure We’re Headed over to the Rainbow Pools in Groveland on the way to Yosemite National Park.
Rainbow Pools are natural swimming holes along the south fork of the Tuolumne River. You can dip your feet, take a plunge or just watch courageous kids jump the rock lined ledges.
Originally a Toll Stop on the Big Oak Flat Road to Yosemite, the area is now a popular picnic, swimming, hiking and fishing area. Families love it because it’s easy for children to access, and visitors usually swing by before and after driving into the park.
To get to the pools just look for it along Highway 120 in Groveland’s. There are no official rainbow pool hours, and it appears to be open 24/7. And best of all it’s all Free!
