In Today’s Kim’s Adventure We’re at Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine California. Their mission is to educate children about the real world by engaging their imagination through assuming various occupational roles. On this day we were invited to a special Christmas media event.

They took us to one of their community rooms to decorate some ornaments. Afterwards the kids poured themselves a piping hot cup of hot cocoa and topped it off with a ton of sweets. The amount of sugar they consumed in proportion to their weight is kind of mind boggling.

We then went to explore the museum. It really felt like I was in a mini-Christmas village, great job with the decoration Pretend City. After all that fun we took a little breather at the Storytime. The woman was reading a book that taught Spanish. Before we left, we went back to the community room to pick up our ornaments and grabbed the gift from Pretend City. Thank you, Pretend City, for showing us a great time, the kids loved it.
