Natural Bridge Death Valley

Natural Bridge Death Valley

To get to the Natural Bridge Death Valley drive 13 miles south on bad water road from Furnace Creek. The trail is a 2 mile out and back hike covered in gravel. The short hike is perfect for families but be prepared for an uphill battle.

Midway, we decided to take a water break to rest Nolans weary feet And while we were resting Jen found some interesting rocks. The great thing about having a 9-year-old is that they can help out with the little ones. The natural bridge is made up of jagged alluvial deposits and is 35ft high by 35 ft thick. It is theorized that thousands of years of flash flooding formed the bridge. Just past the bridge there will also be evidence of a dry waterfall. Me and Dylan found a path to climb up to the top. Dylan was a bit scared to make the leap, but I helped him get through it safe and sound.
